Pre-configured Wage Agreements
With WFM, you can assign preconfigured wage agreements to employees according to the industry or occupation awards that cover their work in Australia.
In preconfigured wage agreements, the following components are set up to apply the specifications and coverage of the each award to employee pay:
-
Conditions and rules designed to calculate pay rates and entitlements
-
Employee classifications with assigned pay rates
-
Allowances and penalties for entitled employees
To see the industry awards covered in WFM as well as their default settings, see Awards with Pre-configured Wage Agreements.
You must activate each preconfigured agreement so you can assign them to employees. For more information, see Using Pre-configured Wage Agreements.
In preconfigured agreements, you can associate jobs with classifications, allowances, and penalties and view all information. You cannot make any changes to conditions, rules, or rates. For more information, see Assigning Jobs for Pre-Configured Wage Agreements.
If you want to ensure that linked payroll items for allowances, penalties, and multipliers are carried over with each new revision, see Linking New Revisions to Pre-Configured Wage Agreements.
