Close Management and Consolidation Sync Release Notes

This release of the Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp introduces the following new features and enhancements:

• You can export your Close Management and Consolidation Sync configuration from NetSuite into a single file. You can then use the file as a configuration backup or import it into another NetSuite account.

• You can use the Plug-in Code Generator to create a custom plug-in script for importing journal entries from Financial Consolidation and Close into NetSuite.

• You can use the new Job Calendar page to view and edit jobs.

• Data Load Rule jobs are now called Data Integration jobs.

• The View Job Execution Log page now includes log details for executed Cloud EPM jobs.

• You can add an account number along with the account type to map NetSuite accounts to specific parent account members in Financial Consolidation and Close. To include an account number in your mapping, use the new Source Account Number field.

• The page for setting up the account metadata hierarchy has been redesigned.

• You can use the FCCS Sync (Data) Account Activity Balance by Period saved search to return account activity balances by period. To include the correct Movement dimension member in this saved search, assign the corresponding value in the EPM Consolidation Movement field on the NetSuite account record.

This release enhances the security of OAuth 2.0 configurations for NetSuite EPM integrations. The OAuth 2.0 connection to Financial Consolidation and Close now includes a token scope that is specific to each Cloud EPM service that your NetSuite integration uses.

This release of the Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp introduces the following new features and enhancements:

• You can check the Use Entered URL to Verify Inbound Connections box to verify that the correct Financial Consolidation and Close application connects to NetSuite. See step 4 in Setting Up the Connection to Financial Consolidation and Close.

• You no longer need to manually add the customsearch_nsfc_ prefix for saved searches and the custdataset_nsfc_ prefix for datasets to the allowlist in NetSuite EPM Connector. The SuiteApp now adds these prefixes automatically when you create default saved searches and datasets. See Data Source Allowlist.

• You can write SuiteQL queries to load data from NetSuite into your Financial Consolidation and Close. See Managing SuiteQL Queries in Close Management and Consolidation Sync.

• Options for Relative period selection in Data Load Rule, Group, and Import Enterprise Journal jobs are renamed from 'month' to 'period'. The following has changed:

  • This Month changes to This Period

  • Last Month changes to Last Period

  • Month Before Last changes to Period Before Last

  • Period Before Last is now available for Data Load Rule and Group jobs
