Setting Up the Connection to Financial Consolidation and Close
To facilitate connection to Financial Consolidation and Close from NetSuite, the Close Management and Consolidation Sync SuiteApp supports two types of authentication:
-
Authentication by entering a username and a password.
For information, see Using Basic Authentication to Connect to Financial Consolidation and Close.
-
OAuth 2.0 that removes the dependency on user credentials in NetSuite. This provides better security and prevents integration issues when a password expires or is changed.
For information, see Using OAuth 2.0 to Connect to Financial Consolidation and Close.
