Import Enterprise Journal in Close Management and Consolidation Sync

To add and set up an Import Enterprise Journal job:

1. In NetSuite, go to NetSuite EPM > Close Management and Consolidation > Manage Jobs.

2. On the Manage Jobs page, do one of the following:

   • In the list of jobs, click Edit next to the Import Enterprise Journal job of your choice.

   • If you do not see the job in the list, click the Add Job button, and follow steps 3 through 6 in Adding a Job in Close Management and Consolidation Sync.

3. To import journal entries from your Financial Consolidation and Close for a specific period, click the Job Parameters subtab, and do the following:

   1. From the Period Type list, select one of the following time frames:

      • Relative to specify the month relative to the current date.

      • Absolute to select a specific month.

      • All to import journal entries that are in the Ready to Post status in your Financial Consolidation and Close.

   2. From the Period list, select the month for which you want to retrieve the journal entries. If you have selected the Relative period type, you have the following options:

      • This Month

      • Last Month

      • Next Month

      • Month Before Last

4. From the Posting Status list, select Ready to Post.

5. To schedule the Import Enterprise Journal job, click the Schedule subtab, and follow step 3 in Scheduling a Job in Close Management and Consolidation Sync.

6. For optional setup of the Import Enterprise Journal job, click the Options subtab.

   From the Post–Processing Plug-ins list, select the plug-in script that you have customized as described in the help topic Importing Enterprise Journals into NetSuite.

   The field is set to None by default.

7. Click Save.
