Configure an Internal Address Range

This example configures an internal address range in SEFOS1.

1. Enter Global Configuration mode in SEFOS1.

   SEFOS# configure terminal
   

2. Enable OSPF globally in SEFOS1.

   SEFOS(config)# ipv6 router ospf
   

3. Configure the OSPF router ID.

   SEFOS(config-router)# router-id 10.0.0.1
   

4. Configure the entire summary for this fec0::1111:0:0 address range.

   SEFOS(config-router)# area 0.0.0.6 range fec0::1111:0:0 96 advertise summary
   

5. View the results in SEFOS1.

   SEFOS# show ipv6 ospf area 0.0.0.0 database  detail
