Configure Transmission Delay

You can set the estimated time required to transmit a link-state update packet on the interface using the configuration in this section. Values are 1-1800 seconds.

This example configures VLAN 10 with a transmission delay of 5 seconds.

  1. Configure OSPFv3 transmission delay through the CLI.
    SEFOS(config)# interface vlan 10
    SEFOS(config-if)# ipv6 ospf transmit-delay 5
    SEFOS(config-if)# end
    
  2. Ensure that the correct transmission delay is set for the specified interface.
    SEFOS# show ipv6 ospf interface vlan 10
