Configure the Retransmission Interval

You can configure the LSA retransmission interval to specify the amount of time between successive LSA retransmissions. You can also use the retransmission interval value to retransmit database description and link-state request packets.

This example configures VLAN 10 with a retransmission interval of 10 seconds.

  1. Configure the retransmission interval through the CLI.
    SEFOS(config)# interface vlan 10
    SEFOS(config-if)# ipv6 ospf retransmit-interval 10
    SEFOS(config-if)# end

  2. Ensure that the correct retransmission interval is set on the specified interface.
    SEFOS# show ipv6 ospf interface vlan 10
