Supply Chain Planning Results Workbook

The Supply Chain Planning Results Workbook includes a source table and four filtered table views. The workbook displays current and future supply, demand, and related pegging details from Material Requirements Planning.

Workbook Configuration

The Supply Chain Planning Results Workbook uses the Planning Results Pegging Dataset as its source. The dataset provides joins to Planned Order, Planning Engine Demand Result, and Planning Engine Supply Result. To customize the standard workbook, use Save As to create a copy. Don't overwrite the standard workbook. In your copy, you can edit each component on the corresponding workbook tab. Shared recipients must save their own dataset copy before editing the dataset.

Consider the following information before you use or customize the workbook:

  • Enable Material Requirements Planning before you use the workbook.

  • Your role needs the SuiteAnalytics Workbook permission at the Edit level and the Material Requirements Planning permission at the View level or higher. A user with the Analytics Administrator permission must share the workbook and source dataset with users who can't access the workbook template or dataset template.

  • Planning data doesn't appear before you launch a supply plan. Refresh the planning repository, launch a supply plan, and then refresh the workbook.

  • Bill of materials explosions for work orders and transfer orders can produce repeated Internal ID values at different assembly or component levels.
