Step 2 Define Workflow Initiation
This step shows how to use the Workflow Manager to specify for the instance of a workflow to initiate on an event, when a record is created.
To define the workflow initiation:

If you have not already done so, complete Step 1 Define Workflow Basic Information.

On the workflow definition page, select the following properties:

On Create
Checked
Trigger Type
Before Record Load
Verify that the workflow properties look like the following screenshot:
