Specifying Municipal Transfer of an Asset
If a depreciable asset is moved to another Municipal, the transfer should be recorded and adjustment in corresponding tax reporting can be made.
Validations Before Specifying Municipal Transfer of an Asset
The following are validations you should know before specifying municipal transfer of an asset:

Before creating a Municipal Transfer record, there must be at least one other Municipal Information instance from the same subsidiary as the current Municipal Information.

Municipal (After Transfer) must not be the same as Municipal (Before Transfer).

Municipal (After Transfer) must be in the same subsidiary as Municipal (Before Transfer).

Date Transferred must be at a later date than all existing transfer dates of the depreciable asset.

Municipal Transfer record cannot be edited, but can be deleted.

When saving or deleting a Municipal Transfer record, the Municipal in the Depreciable Asset record must be updated to the Municipal (After Transfer) of the Municipal Transfer record with the latest Date Transferred.
To specify Municipal Transfer of an Asset:

Go to Depreciable Assets > Lists > Depreciable Assets.

On the Depreciable Asset List page, click the View link of the asset that was transferred to another Municipal.

On the Depreciable Asset page, open the Municipal Transfer History subtab and then click New DATR Municipal Transfer.

On the Municipal Transfer page, specify information in the following fields:

Municipal (After Transfer) – Select the Municipal where the asset was transferred to.

Date Transferred – Specify the date when the transfer was made.

Click Save.
If you go to Depreciable Assets > Lists > Municipal Transfers > New, a page is displayed with an Invalid Data banner. Follow the instructions on the page banner.
