Removing Customer Mapping Rules

If you no longer need a customer mapping rule, remove it.

To remove a customer mapping rule:

  1. Go to Transactions > Bank > Automated Cash Application.

  2. From the Account list, select the bank or credit card account you want to view.

    NetSuite displays a list of bank lines that don't have matching payments.

  3. To view your customer mapping rules, click View Customer Mapping Rules.

    Tip:

    If you don't want the system to use the rule now but may need it later, clear the Active box instead.

  4. For the rule you want to remove, click the delete icon.

  5. In the confirmation window, click OK to remove the rule or Cancel to keep it.

    When you delete a rule, the system removes it from the list and doesn't use it when identifying customers.

    Any changes to your rules are saved immediately .
