Guidelines for Creating a Custom Workbook for Benchmark 360
The Benchmark 360 SuiteApp provides predefined workbooks and their corresponding datasets for the following KPIs upon installation:
-
B360 Days Cash on Hand (DCOH)
-
B360 Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
-
B360 Days Payable Outstanding (DPO)
-
B360 Revenue per FTE
You can also create a new workbook and customize its dataset according to the filters and criteria you need to create a query. To create a custom workbook and dataset for your benchmark dashboard, see Creating a Workbook and Defining a Dataset.
Ensure that the following guidelines are met when you create a new workbook and dataset:
-
B360 The Days Cash on Hand (DCOH) workbook must contain two workbook pivots arranged in the following order:
-
Days Cash on Hand-Bank Balance and Other Current Assets
Within this pivot, the Bank Balance and Other Current Assets columns must be included.
-
Days Cash on Hand-Operating Expense
This pivot must include a column for Operating Expense.
-
-
All workbooks must have their own datasets defined. Datasets are the basis for all workbook visualizations in your account.
-
The criteria filters within each dataset for a workbook must start with Date column followed by the Transaction Line Subsidiary column.
This column order lets the system run the query properly for a dataset. Any succeeding columns after the first two columns mentioned can be arranged according to your preference.
