Customer 360 Permissions

The Customer 360 application cannot be customized directly. However, users can customize the roles associated with it. The data and features available in Customer 360 depend on the permissions assigned to each role. For example, if the "Sales Order" permission is removed from a role, users with that role will not see Sales Orders in the "Recent Transactions" section or the "Orders and Returns" tab. This change will also impact metrics related to Sales Orders within Customer 360. The customer can only view records they have permission to access. If they don't have access to the Returns section, they'll only see other available records. The system automatically calculates and displays only the records the customer is authorized to view.

Not all permissions listed in the table are strictly required for Customer 360 to function. However, the permissions marked as "general" are essential—if these are not included in the role, Customer 360 will not operate correctly. Customer 360 can still function if certain permissions, such as "Journal Entries" or "Statement Charges," are missing. However, the absence of specific permissions will impact what users see in the interface. For example, if a user lacks permissions for "Orders and Return Authorizations," the "Orders and Returns" tab will be empty. Similarly, the "Opportunities and Estimates" tabs will be blank if the role does not include permissions for "Opportunities and Estimates."
