Manage Text Enhance Preferences
The Text Enhance subtab on the AI Preferences page is where users with the Administrator role can disable or enable Text Enhance for their company. You can also use this page to view monthly Text Enhance usage for the account or to configure NetSuite to use your company's Oracle Cloud account configuration for Text Enhance.
Text Enhance is a feature in NetSuite that uses generative AI to assist you with writing business content. For more information about using this feature, see Text Enhance.

Enable or Disable Text Enhance
Text Enhance is enabled by default.
To disable or enable Text Enhance for an account:

Go to Setup > Company > AI > AI Preferences.

From the AI Preferences page, click the Text Enhance subtab.

On the Text Enhance subtab:

Clear the Enable Text Enhance box to disable Text Enhance.

Check the Enable Text Enhance box to enable Text Enhance.

Click Save.
Enable or Disable Text Enhance for External Users
The Enable Text Enhance for External Users setting gives you control over granting Text Enhance capabilities to NetSuite users who have external roles. To enhance security, this setting is disabled by default. Only users with internal roles have access to Text Enhance unless you enable the setting.
The following is a list of standard external roles that have access to Text Enhance when the setting is enabled:

Customer Center

Employee Center

NetSuite Support Center

NetSuite Support Center (Basic)

Online Form User

Partner Center

Shopper
-
Vendor Center
To enable or disable Text Enhance for external users:

Go to Setup > Company > AI > AI Preferences.

From the AI Preferences page, click the Text Enhance subtab.

On the Text Enhance subtab:

Check the Enable Text Enhance for External Users box to enable Text Enhance for external users.

Clear the Enable Text Enhance for External Users box to disable Text Enhance for external users.

Click Save.
Enable or Disable OCI Credentials for Text Enhance
Before you can enable Text Enhance to use OCI credentials, you must complete the OCI configuration on the Settings tab of the AI Preferences page. For more information, see Configure OCI Credentials for AI
To enable or disable OCI credentials for Text Enhance:

Go to Setup > Company > AI > AI Preferences.

From the AI Preferences page, click the Text Enhance subtab.

On the Text Enhance subtab:

Check the Use OCI Credentials for Text Enhance box to enable Text Enhance to use your account's OCI credentials for paid, unlimited usage mode through your Oracle Cloud account.

Clear the Use OCI Credentials for Text Enhance box to disable Text Enhance from using your account's OCI credentials. Text Enhance usage will draw from your monthly pool of free limited uses. For more information, see View Text Enhance Usage Limit and Usage.
