Viewing Text Enhance Usage Limit and Usage

Text Enhance includes a pool of limited, free usage. The free usage pool is renewed each month. The usage table on the Text Enhance subtab of the AI Preferences page shows how much is available for the account.

To view Text Enhance usage limit and usage for an account:

  1. Go to Setup > Company > AI > AI Preferences.

  2. From the AI Preferences page, click the Text Enhance subtab.

  3. Find the usage table. It shows the following information:

    • Month: Usage month and year.

    • Usage Limit: Number of Text Enhance uses available for the account each month.

    • Used Quantity: Number of times that NetSuite users have used Text Enhance actions during the month. NetSuite only counts actions that use the generative AI service successfully. All completed actions count, even if the user doesn't save the result. Unsuccessful attempts to access Text Enhance aren't counted.

      Examples of how NetSuite updates Used Quantity:

      • A user selects Generate and gets a result. The user edits the result, then selects Clean Up and gets a result. The user then clicks Save to save all the changes: Two uses are added to Used Quantity. The two completed actions are counted.

      • A user selects Generate and gets a result. The user then selects Make Shorter and gets a result. However, the user then clicks Cancel without saving changes: Two uses are added to Used Quantity. All completed actions are counted, even if the user doesn't save the results.

      • A user selects Generate, gets a result, and then selects Make Longer but gets an error message: One use is added to Used Quantity. Actions that result in an error message are not counted.

      • A user selects "Translate to" and then Spanish, and gets a result: One use is added to Used Quantity. The "Translate to" action uses generative AI, so its completed actions are counted.

    Note:

    The usage table won't show any data until Text Enhance is used at least one time successfully. Before Text Enhance is used, the usage table shows the message "No records to show." If Text Enhance isn't used during a month, that month won't be shown in the table.
