This release introduces basic authentication to facilitate connection to Planning and Budgeting from NetSuite. See Using Basic Authentication to Connect to Planning and Budgeting.
The best practice is to authenticate using OAuth 2.0. You should use basic authentication only for testing purposes or when OAuth 2.0 is unavailable. For detailed information about the authentication types, see Setting Up the Connection to Planning and Budgeting.
