Is there a limit on how many queries can I submit?
Each user can submit up to 1000 queries (requests) within 30 days. If a user goes over this limit, NetSuite Expert won't respond with a summary.
Do I have to ask a question?
It is helpful to ask a question because it gives NetSuite Expert in SuiteAnswers more context about what you are looking for. However, asking in the form of a question is not required. What is required to activate NetSuite Expert in SuiteAnswers is that you submit at least three (3) words.
The more context you give, the better your results will be. Using a phrase that is between three and seven words usually works well.
If you are not asking a question, you may want to enclose your phrase or keywords inside quotation marks.
Is there a limit to how long my query can be?
The query limit is 255 characters. However, that is a lot of characters, equivalent to about 35 words in a three-sentence paragraph. You'll probably get better results with a shorter, more focused query.
The summary answer does not seem correct, why not?
You may see Generative AI mentioned everywhere in the news these days. NetSuite Expert in SuiteAnswers uses Oracle's Generative AI (GenAI) service. Be aware that GenAI is still new and experimental. Sometimes the answer isn't as good as you would like. You should always verify the information in the summary. We are always improving how NetSuite Expert in SuiteAnswers responds. You can help make the answers better by sending us your feedback!
I have the NetSuite app, and SuiteCommerce Advanced, and a few SuiteApps. How do I make sure I get an answer about the right product?
You may have access to more than one NetSuite product or SuiteApp, all of which have release notes and accompanying documentation. To assist in your search, it may be helpful to add the name of the product or SuiteApp in your query. For example, instead of submitting a generic request, try something like one of the following phrases:
-
show me the NetSuite 2025.1 release notes
-
where are the release notes for SuiteCommerce Advanced?
-
How do I use the Bank Feeds SuiteApp?
-
I can't find the Field Service Management documentation
