Inventory Adjustments
Use inventory adjustments to establish opening inventory balances, add approved quantity corrections, or correct inventory at its current location. Enter the subsidiary, location, adjustment account, quantity, and required lot or serial number information.
Inventory adjustments make inventory available at a warehouse or technician location. Use inventory adjustments to correct count discrepancies. Do not use them to correct errors in transfer orders or other inventory transactions. For serialized inventory, enter the correct serial numbers so you can trace subsequent fulfillment and asset creation.
If inventory appears at the wrong location, investigate the cause before you change item location data.
