Including the CNAE Code in the E-Document Templates for Aracaju (SE) and Macaé (RJ)
The Aracaju (SE) and Macaé (RJ) tax authorities require you to include the Classificação Nacional de Atividades Econômicas (CNAE) code in the e-documents you generate and certify with them.
CNAE is a standardized register of economic activities maintained by the Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE).
The Brazil Certification Tax Authorities SuiteApp provides predefined e-document templates for Aracaju (SE) and Macaé (RJ). If you use these predefined templates, enter the subsidiary's CNAE code in the e-document template for the send e-document operation.
When you enter the CNAE code in a template, NetSuite includes the code in all e-documents generated with the template.
You can only include one CNAE code in the e-document template.
For more information about predefined templates, see Finding Predefined E-Document Template Files for Brazil.
