To add annotations to a specific case in a case series, open the Signal Review page, drill down to case details, and add an annotation to the case.

1. In the left navigation pane, select Signal Review () to display the Products page.
2. From the drop-down to the right of the Signal Review page title, select the signal configuration you just associated with the versioned case series.
3. Identify the product whose cases you want to annotate to add them to the versioned case series and then drill down to the cases details associated with that product by selecting the case count displayed in one of the associated columns.
   Oracle Empirica displays the product-event combinations table.
4. Now drill down to the actual cases by selecting the case count displayed in one of the associated columns and select View Cases from the drop-down menu.
   The Cases page shows the cases associated with the selected product-event combination.
5. To annotate a case, select the ISR number to display the case details.
6. On the Case Details page, select the Add Annotation link, and then complete the Add Annotation page.
   1. From the Annotation drop-down, select an annotation type. A default set of annotation types is installed with Oracle Empirica. You can also create annotation types for each versioned case series.
   2. In the Detailed Annotation text box, enter your annotation, and then select OK.
   The annotation is added to the versioned case series and summarized on the Case Details page. The most current annotation displays there.
7. You can continue populating the versioned case series from the Case Details page by entering additional annotations using the Add Annotation link.
