Creating a Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging Configuration
Introduction
Communication Cloud Service currently supports two SMS Supplier Service Providers: Telesign SMS and Twilio Messaging. Communication Distribution Message Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration enables you to integrate with these Supplier Services to distribute the assembled message to the appropriate recipients. The Operation Company Supplier Service enables you to capture Supplier Service details like credentials and endpoint.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites | Details |

Steps to Create a Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging Configuration
Creating Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging
To create Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration, follow these steps:
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution and then select Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging.
- On the landing page, select Create.
- In the Basic Information section, enter Name, Long Name, and Description (optional) to identify the Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging.
- In the Brand (Marketing Company) section, select Add Marketing Company and then select the Marketing Company that you want to associate to the configuration.
Note:
You can associate only one Marketing Company per Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging. - In Status section, Active Date is set to the current date when the configuration is created. You can modify it to a future date, if required.
- Select Save to save the changes, or Save & Exit to save the details and return to the landing page.
Associating Operations Company Supplier Service
After saving the details, the Associations section is displayed. You can associate the Operation Company Supplier Service configuration where the credentials and other required details to access the selected Supplier Service are held.
To associate the Operations Company Supplier Service, follow these steps:
- In Associations section, select Add and select the Operation Company Supplier Service configuration that you want to associate.

You can add only one Operations Company Supplier Service configuration. - Select Save to save the changes, or Save & Exit to save the details and return to the landing page.
Maintaining a Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging Configuration
Introduction
You can update or delete the Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration to meet changing business needs. When you replace or add new associations, ensure that those configurations belong to the same Config ID that you used to create the Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration.
If the initial Config ID used for creating the Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration is closed, and if you want to edit the configuration, see Editing a Configuration after Closing the Config ID.
- Editing a Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging Configuration: Update the basic information of the Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration and Active Date, replace the Marketing Company, or remove the Operations Company Supplier Service configuration.
- Deleting a Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging Configuration: Delete the Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration that you are no longer using, if the Config ID is open.
Editing Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging Configuration
You can edit the basic information, Active Date, or replace Marketing Company of a Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration. You can remove the Operations Company Supplier Service configuration from the existing Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration.
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution and then select Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging. This redirects you to the respective landing page.
- To edit the Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration, follow either one of these options from the landing page:
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration, select Edit.
- From the Name column, select the required Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration to view its Summary page. Then from the Summary page, select Edit.
This redirects you to Update Telesign SMS or Update Twilio Messaging page.
- On Update page, modify the information as required.
- To replace Marketing Company, under Brand (Marketing Company) section, from More Menu in Action column, select Replace. Select a different Marketing Company belonging to the same Config ID.
- To remove Operations Company Supplier Service, select Expand All under Associations section, then select More Menu under Action column and select Remove.
Deleting a Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration
You can delete a Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration if it is no longer required. Before deleting a configuration, you must ensure that the associated Operation Company Supplier Service configuration is removed, and the initial Config ID used for Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration creation is open.
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution and then select Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging. This redirects you to the respective landing pages.
- To delete the Telesign SMS or Twilio Messaging configuration, follow either one of these options from the respective landing page:
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective configuration, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective configuration, select Edit. This redirects you to the Update Telesign SMS or Update Twilio Messaging page. From Actions on the top right corner, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
