7 Bill Discrepancy Acceptance

This topic provides the systematic instructions to search and view the Bill Discrepancies and perform the Acceptance of discrepancies in the application.

User can search amendments under Export Bills using various parameters like Beneficiary Name, Bill Number, Exporter Name and Importer Name.

The user can simultaneously perform immediate liquidation of Import Sight Bill along with acceptance of discrepancies in a single transaction of Bill Discrepancy Acceptance process.

To search amendments under Export Bills:

  1. From the Dashboard, click Menu, then click Trade Finance, and then click Letter of Credit. Under Letter of Credit, click Import Letter of Credit and then click Import LC Bill Discrepancy Acceptance.
    The Bill Discrepancy Acceptance screen appears.

    Field Name Description
    Related Party Specify the Related Party name to filter the LC by Party Name.
    Search Specify the search criteria to search the amendments under Export Bills.
    Search Results This section displays the filter results.
    Bill Reference Number Displays the Import Bill reference number.

    Displays the link to view the Import Bill details.

    Product Name Displays the product of the Import Bill.
    Applicant Name Displays the name of the beneficiary of the Import Bill.
    LC Reference Number Displays the LC which is linked to the Bill.
    Bill Amount Displays the Import Bill amount.
  2. Specify the filter criteria, if required.
    The Bill Discrepancy Acceptance screen appears with the search results.
  3. Perform one of the following actions:
    • Click on the desired Bill Reference Number link to view the Bill details. The discrepancy details appear.
    • Click the download icon to download the records in CSV & PDF format.
    • Click the manage columns icon to setup a column preference by rearranging or removing columns.
