Using SuitePeople Time Clock for Windows

Different options appear when employees clock in with a scheduled shift and without a scheduled shift.
Clocking in on a Scheduled Shift
Employees who clock with a scheduled shift can use the Quick Punch feature.
The Quick Punch feature is available if the schedule has been published when employees punch in for their shift. If employees don't see this feature, the schedule may not be published or they may not have any scheduled shifts
To clock in with Quick Punch on a scheduled shift:

Open SuitePeople Time Clock on your Windows device.

On the keypad screen, enter your PIN code.

Click Enter.
If the schedule has been published, the screen shows a green Quick Punch button.

(Optional) In the Notes field, enter details related to the clock-in event.

If you need to clock in to a job or location that is different from what is scheduled, click Change.

Select the new location and job.

Click Quick Punch.
Clocking in on an Unscheduled Shift
If an employee clocks in for an unscheduled shift, they will need to select the location and job they are clocking into.
To clock in on an unscheduled shift:

Open SuitePeople Time Clock on your Windows device.

On the keypad screen, enter your PIN code.

Click Enter.

On the Locations section, select the location where you will work your shift.

On the Jobs section, select the job that you will take for this shift.

(Optional) In the Notes field, enter details related to the clock-in event.

Click Punch-in.
The screen shows a green screen that confirms your location, job, and punch-in time.
Note:When you successfully clock in, you will not be able to clock out for 10 seconds.
The next screen shows the main Time Clock screen, with the employee name listed in the Currently Working panel.
Changing Jobs During a Shift
If you have multiple jobs set up for the location where you are clocked in, you can change jobs during your shift.
To change jobs during a shift:

Open SuitePeople Time Clock on your Windows device.
On the main Time Clock screen, your name is listed in the Currently Working panel.

On the keypad screen, enter your PIN code.

Click Enter.

On the Jobs section, select the job that you must change to for this shift.

Click Job Change.
The screen shows confirmation of the job change, including the location and current job on the shift.
Clocking Out of a Shift
Clock out of shifts on the main screen of SuitePeople Time Clock.
To clock out of a shift:

Open SuitePeople Time Clock on your Windows device.
On the main Time Clock screen, your name is listed in the Currently Working panel.

On the keypad screen, enter your PIN code.

Click Enter.

On the Jobs section, select the job that you will take for this shift.

(Optional) In the Notes field, enter details related to the job change event.

Click Punch-out.
The screen shows a screen that confirms that you have punched out.
The next screen shows the main Time Clock screen, with the employee name listed in the Recently Finished panel.
Clocking In and Out for Multiple Units
On the SuitePeople Time Clock main window, enter your PIN. Select Enter.
If multiple locations are active, a dialog will appear that asks the employee to select where they are working.
Note: The Please select a unit dialog will appear if the employee clocking in is available at both locations. It can also appear if the Show all staff option was selected when the activation code was generated.
In the Currently active staff list, you will see the employee you have clocked in.
