Japan Consumption Tax Form
The Japan Consumption Tax Form is the required tax form starting October 1, 2019. It is available from Reports > Financial > Japan Consumption Tax Form.
Only the transactions of subsidiaries you have access to will be included or applied when you work on the Japan Consumption Tax Form.

The Japan Consumption Tax Form replaces two d tax forms for accounts without SuiteTax. The Japan Tax Report (from Reports > VAT/GST > Tax Form) was d in NetSuite 2019.2. And the Deductible Tax & Sales Ratio Calculation Form (from Reports > Financial > Deductible Tax & Taxable Sales Ratio Calculation Form) was d in NetSuite 2020.1.
The Japan Consumption Tax Form has six subtabs, each containing a table with tax amounts or values, most of which, are automatically calculated. The main tax form is made up of two tables, 第一表 and 第二表. The other four subtabs are required appendices 付表1-1, 付表1-2, 付表2-1, and 付表2-2. These appendices integrate the automatic calculation of deductible purchase tax and taxable sales ratio.
To accomplish and generate the Japan Consumption Tax Form:

Go to Reports > Financial > Japan Consumption Tax Form.

If you are using a OneWorld account, select a subsidiary in the Subsidiary field.
Note:The Subsidiary field displays a list of only those subsidiaries that you have access to.

In the Calculation Method field, select either Itemized or Proportional.

In the Tax Period fields, select start and end dates.

Click Refresh. The tables on the subtabs appears.

Enter values in the following boxes:

Click 付表1-1 subtab. Enter values for 6D and 6E.

Click 付表1-2 subtab. Enter values for 6A, 6B and 6C.

Click 付表2-1 subtab. Enter values for 14D, 14E, 21D, 21E, 22D, 22E, 25D, and 25E.

Click 付表2-2 subtab. Enter values for 14A, 14B, 14C, 21A, 21B, 21C, 22A, 22B, 22C, 25A, 25B, and 25C.

Click 第一表 subtab. Enter values for row 10, and for rows 13, 14, 21, 24, and 25, if needed.

After accomplishing the forms, click Print.
What is printed to the PDF depends on the print option you specified in the Consumption Tax Form Print Option field on the subsidiary record or Company Information setup page. For more information, see Setting Print Option for Japan Consumption Tax Form.
To view the PDF, ensure that popups are enabled on your browser.
You can print the PDF and submit it to the tax agency.
