Many-to-Many Transaction Matches
The Intelligent Transaction Matching feature automatically creates matches through the system or custom matching rules. For any remaining unmatched transactions, you can manually create matches.
The most complex matching matches multiple imported transactions with multiple transactions in the NetSuite general ledger account.
In these situations, different key elements (including transaction numbers) in both sets can provide a unique reference for your match.
For example, the Match on Transaction Number and Amount rule groups imported bank lines by transaction number and matches them to a single NetSuite account transaction with the same number.
For matching and grouping, you may also use codes for cost centers, projects, or other items in the memo.
