France Localization Overview
The France Localization SuiteApp enables you to address the accounting and financial reporting requirements in France. To ensure compliance with the accounting principles in France, the SuiteApp provides checks and validations such as checks on your account number formats and transaction memos. The SuiteApp also provides the following:

France Chart of Accounts – A template of the statutory Chart of Accounts, which enables you to generate financial reports that are compliant to the France generally accepted accounting principles or Plan Comptable Générale. The template includes accounts to which you can add subaccounts or set up only the accounts that you will use.

Financial reports – Customized reports to comply with the accounting laws in France. There are three kinds of these reports:

Saved reports in nonvalidated version, and validated (aligned with the Fichier d’Ecritures Comptables (FEC) reporting requirements) – Validated reports are assigned a GL number and are locked.

France SuiteTax–based reports – France tax reports for NetSuite accounts that use SuiteTax. These reports are used with the Tax Reporting Framework SuiteApp.

France VAT reports as aids for Hybrid VAT declaration – Customized VAT reports that you can use to declare VAT on accruals or cash basis depending on the nature of the goods sold. These reports can be used with NetSuite accounts without the SuiteTax feature.

France Fichier d’Écritures Comptables – France tax audit file that can be generated with our without the SuiteTax feature. This file is used with the Tax Reporting Framework SuiteApp.

France electronic bank payment templates – Payment templates in formats specific to France. These templates are used with the Electronic Bank Payments SuiteApp.
