Working with Related Issues
In NetSuite, you can set up relationship types or links between issues. For example, if the relationship type is set to Blocks or Is blocked by, you can search for issues that block or are blocked by others. The relationship type is displayed on each issue in the relationship, showing also which issue influences which. The Related to type is different, as each issue can affect the other.
To define issue relationships:
-
Go to Lists > Support > Issues.
-
Click Edit next to the issue you want to define the relationship for.
-
On the Related Records subtab, click Issues. Choose the desired relationship and the issue number of the associated issue.
Optionally, you can write a comment about this relationship in the Comment field.
-
Click Add.
-
Click Save.
