Australia Account Setup
Setting up an account for an organization doing business in Australia usually requires enabling several features and installing some additional SuiteApps.
Enabling Features for Australia Account
Some features available in your NetSuite account may be important or even essential for your Australian business. If the features are inactive, you should consider enabling them. Follow the instructions below to enable the most common features beneficial for users in Australia. However, if you want to get access to a specific product area, go to the Functional Areas help topic and check the exact requirements.
If you do not have sufficient permissions to enable features, please contact your account administrator.
To enable features:

In NetSuite, go to Setup > Company > Setup Tasks > Enable Features (Administrator).

On the SuiteCloud subtab, enable the following features:

Under SuiteBuilder, check the following boxes:

If you are using NetSuite OneWorld, do the following:

On the Company subtab, go to the International section and check the Multi-language and Multiple Currencies boxes.

On the Tax subtab, check the Advanced Taxes box.

Click Save.
Relevant SuiteApps

Generates GST reports in Australian format, sales and purchase reports by tax code, and pre-configured tax codes for newly-created nexus. If your account has the SuiteTax feature enabled, you do not need to install this SuiteApp. |

Provides the localization features like customized transaction fields, records, and report templates specific to Australia and New Zealand. |

Taxation Features For Accounts With SuiteTax |
Sets default tax codes based on local tax requirements. This SuiteApp is required for accounts in SuiteTax. |
