Working with the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant

When you select a configurable item, such as a bicycle, you'll see Configure with CPQ Assistant appear in the bottom-right corner of the transaction. When you click Configure with CPQ Assistant, the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant starts a chat and asks questions based on what you selected. Describe what you need, like saying you want a general-purpose bike for parks and light trails. You can ask the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant questions about an item to get clear, tailored answers. You can also tell the assistant what you’re looking for, and it will help you build and customize an item configuration that meets your requirements.

As you work with the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant, it might ask follow-up questions to better understand your needs and fine-tune your item configuration. You can skip these questions and keep moving forward. The more information you give, the more tailored your configuration will be to what you need.

After the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant configures your item, you’ll see which options were selected and why. It may show specified options, which are what it thinks are the best fit, as well as recommended options based on your configuration. You can choose to apply all, only the specified options, or the recommended options. You can also apply none of these suggestions and continue adjusting your configuration before saving.
