Understanding AI Readiness

The NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant is only available for products that are fully set up and have an overall AI readiness status of Ready. Each AI description field (product, question, and answer) has its own readiness status. You can write these descriptions yourself or use Text Enhance to generate or improve the AI description.

Product Readiness Criteria

Here’s what to include in your Product AI Description to make it ready for the CPQ AI Assistant.

• The main purpose of the product and at least one use case.

• Key features and benefits

• Any additional usage scenarios

• The description doesn't exceed seven sentences

Question Readiness Criteria

Here’s what to include in your Question AI Description to make it ready for the CPQ AI Assistant:

• The main purpose of the question and its primary usage scenario

• Key features and benefits

• Any additional usage scenarios

• A comparison with other related components

Answer Readiness Criteria

Here's what to include in your Answer AI Description to make it ready for the CPQ AI Assistant:

• The main purpose and primary usage scenario

• Key features and benefits

• How this answer is compatible or pairs with other components

• Any additional usage scenarios

• A comparison with other available options

• Consistency with the related component

Keep these criteria in mind as you write or edit AI descriptions to make sure your product or service and related records are fully ready for the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant.

Overall Readiness

Within the CPQ AI Assistant subtab, you’ll see an Overall Readiness indicator:

• Ready: The product or service configuration is complete for NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant use. Configuration with AI support is enabled.

• Not Ready: One or more required AI descriptions are incomplete or don't meet readiness criteria. The product or service can still be configured manually, but the NetSuite CPQ AI Assistant will not be available.
