Intelligent Payment Automation Limitations

Intelligent Payment Automation can only be installed and used in a NetSuite production account. You can't use Intelligent Payment Automation features in NetSuite sandbox, development, or Release Preview accounts.

Only companies located in the United States can use this SuiteApp to pay vendors in the United States.

You can only make bill payments in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Automated bill payments with BILL can't be processed using the standard Pay Bills page, which you can access through Transactions > Payables > Pay Bills.

Bill payments can only be made by checking the Automated Bill Payments setting on each record. Other methods, such as importing payments using CSV into NetSuite, are not supported.

A maximum of 50 transactions, including bills and installments, can be selected per vendor payment.

A maximum of 10,000 transactions, including bills and installments, can be processed per payment run for all vendors, combining selected bank and AP accounts.

You can submit up to 600 payments to BILL at a time. If there are more than 600 payments, submit them in multiple batches.

Any discounts applied to your payments are only captured in NetSuite and don't appear in the payment remittance sent to vendors.

If the vendor credit is fully applied to a payment and the total payment amount is zero, the payment is only recorded in NetSuite. The vendor credit transaction and the bills where this credit is applied don't appear in the payment remittance sent to vendors.

Payment run processing doesn't support selection of classification fields such as Department, Class and Location.

Reference Numbers that exceed 50 alphanumeric characters are truncated to 50 characters.

Bill or Credit Memos that exceed 4,000 alphanumeric characters are truncated to 4,000 characters.

Bill Payment Memos that exceed 70 alphanumeric characters are truncated to 70 characters.

You can only onboard vendors through their primary subsidiary. Onboarding vendors through other associated U.S. subsidiaries isn't supported.

Remittance emails can't be customized.
