netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
instead ofopenair.com
. For more information about service URL changes, including any action required related to these changes, see SuiteProjects Pro Service URLs. -
System email sender – The sender for all email originating from SuiteProjects Pro will be

instead ofwww@openair.com
. For more information about the email sender change, including any action required related to this change, see SuiteProjects Pro Email Sender.
There are no feature or functionality changes to the application as part of this update.

SuiteProjects Pro Service URLs
Effective January 25, 2025 for sandbox accounts and February 15, 2025 for production accounts, SuiteProjects Pro service URLs use the domain name netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
instead of openair.com
-
All access to sign-in page URLs with the
openair.com
domain name redirects to the new domain equivalent. -
After signing in, users are redirected to an account URL with the
netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
domain name. -
Any links or bookmarks including your previous
openair.com
account URL redirect to the SuiteProjects Pro sign-in page, even if the user has an active SuiteProjects Pro session in a different browser tab.
The following tables list the sign-in page URLs and account URLs for each type of account as well as the URLs for the WSDL and system status page before and after the domain change.
Your account-specific domain includes a unique account identifier <company-id>
which is typically assigned based on the Company ID for your account. Your unique account identifier remains unchanged.
All service URLs use the format https://<account-domain>/<service-path>
where <account-domain>
is your account-specific domain, and <service-path>
is the specific path for the service you are accessing. All service paths remain unchanged.
For backward compatibility, service URLs with the openair.com
domain name continue to be supported until further notice for API requests, BI Connector requests, WSDL, and the NetSuite integration setup for real-time record import and single sign-on. Note that this is subject to change in the future. You should plan to update service URLs in your integrations at the earliest opportunity.

Actions Required Before Service URL Change
If your company is using firewall, domain or redirection safelisting or allowlisting, your IT team needs to make the necessary adjustments to prepare for the domain change and redirection. Please discuss the changes with your IT team. The following actions may be required:
-
Include the following domains to any domain allowlist:
-
netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
-
outbound1.netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
-
outbound2.netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
-
<company-id>.app.netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
(Your new account URL, where<company-id>
is a unique account identifier that is typically assigned based on the Company ID for your account)
Note:The following outbound and relay domains are not changing and should still be included in any domain allowlist.
-
outbound1.openair.com
-
outbound2.openair.com
-
relay.openair.com
Equivalent domains with the
netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
domain name will be added to work in parallel with the existing outbound and relay domains. Outbound domains foropenair.com
may be removed at a future date. -
-
Update any safelist or security tools to allow redirection from URLs with the
openair.com
domain name to URLs with thenetsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
domain name.
You should also make all account users aware of the product name and URL changes. Users of OpenAir Mobile must update the app to version 5.2 or later to ensure that it continues to work as expected after January 25, 2025 for sandbox accounts and February, 15, 2025 for production accounts.
SuiteProjects Pro Email Sender
The email sender change will be rolled out in phases. Refer to the upcoming Proactive Feature Change Notification (PFCN) email for more information about the target date for the email sender change in your account.
The sender for all email originating from your SuiteProjects Pro (formerly OpenAir) account will change from www@openair.com
www@netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
on the target date for your account.
If your company's account is configured to send system email from user email addresses, there will be no noticeable changes. However, your IT team will likely need to make adjustments to spam filter configuration to allow this email through.
Actions Required Before Email Sender Change
Please discuss the changes with your IT team and complete the following actions before the target date for the email sender change in your account:
-
Allow email from
www@netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
through spam filters. -
Verify that email from
www@netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
are not blocked by sending a test email. Testing steps to follow.
No changes to your company’s SPF record and DKIM setup are required. See the following FAQs:

When will support for openair.com service URLs end?
For backward compatibility, service URLs with the domain name continue to be supported until further notice for API requests, BI Connector requests, WSDL, and the NetSuite integration setup for real-time record import and single sign-on.
Any future plans to end support for openair.com
service URLs will follow the usual process and will be communicated in advance through the usual channels, namely Proactive Feature Change Notification (PFCN) and Release Notes.
You should plan to update service URLs in your integrations at the eraliest opportunity.
When updating service URLs in your integrations, if you are using the SuiteProjects Pro Within NetSuite NetSuite integration feature, leave the Redirect URI unchanged in the custom integration record you created for this feature. Replacing the Redirect URI with the new domain name equivalent would cause the SuiteProjects Pro Within NetSuite feature to stop working. See Enabling Access to SuiteProjects Pro From Within NetSuite.
Is a new version of the SuiteProjects Pro/OpenAir Mobile app available?
Yes. A rebranded version of the mobile app was released on January 24, 2025 for iOS and Android devices. As well as replacing all references to "OpenAir" with "NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro" or "SuiteProjects Pro", the new version refreshes the app layout with new colors, icons, and fonts, using the Oracle Redwood Experience. To ensure that the mobile app continues to work as expected after January 25, 2025 for sandbox accounts, and February 15, 2025 for production accounts, users must update the app to version 5.2 or later.
Are new versions of the add-on service desktop applications available?
Yes. Rebranded versions of the add-on service desktop applications were released on February 19, 2025. A time-bound upgrade is not required for desktop applications until further notice. However, you should plan to upgrade any desktop applications you use at the earliest opportunity. Note that the new versions include changes to program file locations and names, additional steps may be required to remove files associated with the previous version. See also the following release notes:
Do existing Integration Manager shortcuts continue to work after the rebranding?
Yes, you can continue to use existing Integration Manager shortcuts. You are not required to upgrade existing Integration Manager shortcuts until further notice.
When you upgrade Integration Manager shortcuts from version 7.2.0 or earlier to the latest version, note that the upgrade changes the Integration Manager application file name and shortcut path. Be sure to update any batch (BAT) files you use to run a sequence of Integration Manager shortcuts. See SuiteProjects Pro Integration Manager 7.2.1.
Are new versions of the NetSuite bundles supporting the integration available?
Yes. New versions of the integration bundles were released on January 22, 2025. The new bundle versions replace most references to "OpenAir" with "SuiteProjects Pro" in display names only. For backward compatibility, all references to openair
or oa
in custom element IDs remain unchanged. The name of the bundles and bundle owner's name have changed to reference "SuiteProjects Pro" instead of "OpenAir", but the bundle IDs remain unchanged. For more information, see Important Notes and Guidelines About Bundle Updates and NetSuite Bundle Version History.
Do we need to update our company's SPF record?
To facilitate the transition, the new Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record for netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
will be appended to the existing SPF record (spf.openair.com
). Note that this is subject to change in the future. You should plan to update your company’s SPF record to include spf.netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
if or when your company’s SPF record does not exceed the DNS lookup limit.
Do we need to update the DKIM record for SuiteProjects Pro email notifications in our DNS settings?
No. No changes to the DKIM setup are required to support inbound email notifications from SuiteProjects Pro after the target date for the email sender change in your account. The DKIM key pairs generated as part of the DKIM setup are generated against your company's email domain and are not impacted by SuiteProjects Pro domain and email sender changes.
However, and independently of the rebranding changes, DKIM keys for SuiteProjects Pro email notifications can be rotated from time to time at your request. For more information, see Setting Up DKIM for SuiteProjects Pro Notifications.
When will the system email sender change for our company's SuiteProjects Pro account?
Plans regarding the system email sender change will be communicated separately. The email sender change will be rolled out in phases. Refer to the upcoming Proactive Feature Change Notification (PFCN) email for more information about the target date for the email sender change in your account.
Do we need to update our existing SAML single sign-on configuration?
No. Existing SAML single sign-on implementations are not expected to require any updates. The service provider entity IDs and assertion consumer service (ACS) URLs remain unchanged for existing identity provider profiles.
For identity provider profiles added after the target date for domain changes, service provider entity IDs continue to use the openair.com
domain name and ACS URLs use the netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
domain name.
Do I need to setup two-factor authentication (2FA) again after the product name and domain changes?
No. Your existing 2FA setup continues to work after the changes. However, your authenticator app continues to show your previous account URL with the openair.com
domain. For the authenticator app to show your new account URL with the netsuitesuiteprojectspro.com
domain, reset your 2FA settings and set up 2FA again after the go-live date.
Are well-known standard and custom fields, user scripting functions, and API object types referencing openair, oa, or NSOA changing?
No. Custom field names, database or other application-related schemas, user scripting functions and API object types remain unchanged. References to OAirService
, OAirServiceHandler
, OAirServiceHandlerService
and OAirServiceSoapBinding
in the WSDL remain unchanged. Custom integrations and other account customizations are not expected to require any updates in preparation for the SuiteProjects Pro go-live.
Are IP addresses different for NetSuite SuiteProjects Pro services?
No. IP addresses remain unchanged. However, note that the best practice is to allow domains instead of IP addresses as the IP addresses may change at any time without notice.
