Disable the DHCP Server

The DHCP server is disabled by default. To disable it after it has been enabled, complete the following task.

1. Disable the DHCP server.

   SEFOS# configure terminal
   SEFOS(config)# no service dhcp-server
   SEFOS(config)# end
   

2. View the DHCP server status.

   SEFOS# show ip dhcp server information
   

   The output in switch 1 is:

   DHCP server status                         : Disable
   Send Ping Packets                          : Disable
   Debug level                                : None
   Server Address Reuse Timeout               : 5 secs
   Next Server Address                        : 0.0.0.0
   Boot file name                             :
