I can't click Randomize or Dispense during a visit
If the Randomize or Dispense button is grayed out, an answer might be missing or invalid for a required question.
If you finish filling out all the forms in a visit, and the
Randomize or Dispense button is
disabled, review all questions.
- If at least one field contains a blank or invalid value. Enter or update the invalid values, then you can click Randomize or Dispense.
- If one or more required values are invalid because the subject is no longer
eligible for randomization or dispensation, leave the values as they are,
click Save at the bottom of the form, and then click
Return to All Subjects.
- Randomization visits remain in the Next Visits column.
- Dispensation visits are marked as incomplete and move to the Previous Visits column. Incomplete visits display in yellow with a warning icon.
If the Dispense button is disabled and there are
no invalid values, it might be due to the subject's state.
- To dispense, the subject must be screened and active. You cannot dispense to a withdrawn subject.
- Check the randomization visit. If a required field for randomization was
updated with an invalid value after the subject was randomized, the
Dispense button is disabled in all following
dispensation visits.
- If the invalid values in the randomization visit are incorrect, update the invalid values, click Randomize, and return to the current dispensation visit.
- If the subject is no longer eligible to continue the study, click Save in the dispensation visit, and then click Return to All Subjects.
