Creating an SFTP Configuration
Introduction
Communication Cloud Service currently supports SFTP to distribute a communication generated through Communication Storage to the SFTP server. Communication Distribution Storage SFTP configuration enables you to integrate with the Supplier Service to distribute the assembled storage asset to the SFTP server from where the asset can be accessed and downloaded. The Operation Company Supplier Service enables you to capture Supplier Service interaction configuration, like credentials.
Prerequisites
Following are the prerequisites to consider before creating an SFTP configuration in Communication Cloud Service:

Configure Entitlements | Ensure that you have the required entitlements to create an SFTP configuration.

Steps involved in creating an SFTP Configuration
Creating an SFTP configuration and Associating Marketing Company
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution and then select SFTP.
- On the SFTP landing page, select Create.
- In the Basic Information section, enter Name, Long Name, and Description (optional) to identify the SFTP.
- In the Brand (Marketing Company) section, select Add Marketing Company and then select the Marketing Company that you want to associate to the configuration.

You can associate only one Marketing Company per SFTP configuration. - In Status section, Active Date is set to the current date when the configuration is created. You can modify it to a future date, if required.
- Select Save to save the information, or Save & Exit to save and return to the landing page.
Associating Operations Company Supplier Service
After saving the details, the Associations section is displayed. You can associate the Operations Company Supplier Service configuration where the credentials and other required details to access the selected Supplier Service are held.
To associate the Operations Company Supplier Service, follow these steps:
- In Associations section, select Add and select the Operations Company Supplier Service that you want to associate.

You can add only one Operations Company Supplier Service configuration. - Select Save to save the information, or Save & Exit to save and return to the landing page.
Maintaining an SFTP Configuration
Introduction
You can update or delete an SFTP configuration to cater to the changing business needs. When you replace or add new associations, ensure that those configurations belong to the same Config ID that you used to create the SFTP configuration.
If the initial Config ID used for creating an SFTP Configuration is closed, and if you want to edit the configuration, see Editing a Configuration after Closing the Config ID.
You can update the following SFTP information:
- Editing an SFTP Configuration: Update the basic information and Active Date, replace the Marketing Company of the SFTP configuration, or remove the Operations Company Supplier Service association.
- Deleting an SFTP Configuration: Delete SFTP configuration that you are no longer using, if the Config ID is open.
Editing an SFTP Configuration
You can edit the basic information, Active Date, or replace the Marketing Company of SFTP configuration. You can also remove the associated Operation Supplier Service Company configuration.
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution, and then select SFTP. This redirects you to the SFTP landing page.
- To edit the SFTP configuration, follow either one of these options from the landing page:
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective SFTP configuration, select Edit.
- From the Name column, select the required configuration to view its Summary page. Then from the Summary page, select Edit.
This redirects you to the Update SFTP page.
- On the Update SFTP page, modify the basic information and Active Date, if required.
- To replace the Marketing Company, under Brand (Marketing Company) section, select More Menu under Actions column, and select Replace. Select a different Marketing Company belonging to the same Config ID.
- To remove the associations, under Associations section select Expand All, select More Menu from Action column, and select Remove.
Deleting an SFTP Configuration
You can delete an SFTP configuration if it is no longer required. Before deleting a configuration, you must ensure that the associated Operation Company Supplier Service configuration is removed, and the initial Config ID used for SFTP configuration creation is open.
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution and then select SFTP. This redirects you to the SFTP landing page.
- To delete the SFTP configuration, follow either one of these options from the landing page:
- From More Menu in Action column of the configuration, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
- From More Menu in Action column of the configuration, select Edit. This redirects you to the Update SFTP page. From Actions on the top right corner, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
