Creating an OCI Email or Twilio Email Configuration
Introduction
Communication Cloud Service currently supports two Email Supplier Service Providers, that are OCI Email and Twilio Email. Communication Distribution Email Oracle OCI Email and Twilio Email configuration enable you to integrate with these Supplier Services to distribute the assembled email to the correct recipients. The Operation Company Supplier Service helps you to capture Supplier Service interaction configuration, such as credentials, metadata and any other required details.
Prerequisites
Following are the prerequisites to consider before creating an OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration.

Ensure that you complete the prerequisite before proceeding.Prerequisites | Details |

Set the Config ID | Config ID must be Active.
Ensure all dependent configurations and associations are part of the same open Config ID. See Creating Config ID. |
Configure entitlements | Ensure that you have the required entitlements to create an OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration.

Create Marketing Company configuration | Ensure that you have created the Marketing Company configuration that needs to be associated to the OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration. See Creating Marketing Company for more details. |
Create Operations Company Supplier Service configuration | Ensure that you have created the Operations Company Supplier Service configuration that needs to be associated to OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration. See Creating Operations Company Supplier Service for more information. |
Creating an OCI Email or Twilio Email Configuration and Associating Brand Marketing Company
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution, and then select OCI Email or Twilio Email.
- On the landing page, select Create.
- In Basic Information section, enter the Name, Long Name and Description (optional), to identify the OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration.
- In Brand section, select Add Marketing Company and then select the Marketing Company that you want to associate to the OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration.
Note:
You can associate only one Marketing Company per OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration. - In Status section, Active Date is set to the current date when the OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration is created. You can modify it to a future date, if required.
- Select Save to save the information and proceed to add Operations Company Supplier Service association, or Save & Exit to save and return to the landing page.
Associating Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration
After saving the Service configuration, the Associations section is displayed. You can associate the Operations Company Supplier Service configuration which securely stores the credentials and other necessary details required to access the selected Supplier Service.
To associate OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration to a Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration, follow these steps:
- In Associations, select Add next to the Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration.
- Select the Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration that you want to associate.
Note:
You can associate only one Operations Company Supplier Service Configuration. - Select Save to save the information, or Save & Exit to save and return to the landing page.
Maintaining OCI Email or Twilio Email Configuration
Introduction
You can update or delete OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration to cater to the changing business needs. When you replace or add new associations, ensure that those configurations belong to the same Config ID that you used to create the OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration.
If the initial Config ID used for creating OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration, including all its associations, is closed, and if you want to edit the configuration, see Editing a Configuration after Closing the Config ID.
You can update the following information:
- Editing an OCI Email or Twilio Email Configuration: Update the basic information of the OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration and Active Date, replace the Brand Marketing Company, or remove the Operations Company Supplier Service association.
- Deleting an OCI Email or Twilio Email Configuration: Delete OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration that you are no longer using, if the Config ID is open.
Editing an OCI Email or Twilio Email Configuration
You can edit the basic information, Active Date, or replace the Brand Marketing Company of OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration. You can remove the Operations Company Supplier Service configuration from the existing OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration.
Perform the following steps:
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution and then select OCI Email or Twilio Email. This redirects you to the respective landing pages.
- To edit the OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration, follow either one of these options from the landing page:
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration, select Edit.
- From Name column, select the OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration name to view its Summary page. Then from Summary page, select Edit.
This redirects you to Update OCI Email or Update Twilio Email page.
- Modify the information as required.
- To replace the Brand Marketing Company, under Brand (Marketing Company) section, from More Menu in Action column, select Replace. Select a different Marketing Company belonging to the same Config ID.
- Select Save to save the changes, or Save & Exit to save the details and return to the landing page.
Deleting an OCI Email or Twilio Email Configuration
You can delete an OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration, if it is no longer required. Before deleting the configuration, you must ensure that the initial Config ID used for the configuration creation is not closed.
Perform the following steps:
- Access the Oracle Financial Services Cloud application.
- From Menu, select Communication.
- Under Communication, select Distribution and then select OCI Email or Twilio Email. This redirects you to the respective landing pages.
- To delete the OCI Email or Twilio Email configuration, follow either one of these options from the respective landing page:
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective configuration, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
- From More Menu in Action column of the respective configuration, select Edit. This redirects you to the Update OCI Email or Update Twilio Email page. From Actions on the top right corner, select Delete. In the dialog box, select Delete to confirm.
