Creating a Communication Distribution Email Configuration

Introduction

Communication Distribution Email facilitates the distribution of email to your customers based on the data that you have provided. It enables you to orchestrate the email delivery to your customers through OCI Emails or Twilio Email supplier services.

Creating a Communication Distribution Email configuration involves setting up a base configuration that includes Brand Marketing Company association, Details, Processes, Services, and Contextualized Tables. Each configuration must include at least one Detail, which maps to specific transaction types. A Process is then defined to control how errors in associated Services are handled. Services specify the Supplier Service integration configuration, such as OCI Email or Twilio Email, used for email delivery. You can create a Contextualized Table for each Detail configuration to determine which processes to execute and in what order when the Communication Distribution Email configuration is executed. After each process has completed, the Table determines the next process to execute, or whether processing is complete. You cannot reuse the Table that is created in the context of a specific Communication Distribution Email Detail configuration.

Following are the prerequisites to consider before creating a Communication Distribution Email configuration.
