Configure Simple Web Form
A new interface for setting up simple web forms and generating HTML for use in Fusion Marketing landing pages. Marketers and campaign managers can now quickly create, publish, and add forms to landing pages, capturing contact data.
- Create a form using out of the box fields from your contact table, or by creating custom inputs
- Add checks to ensure only valid data will be captured by the form
- Generate HTML that can be customized for use on your landing pages

Steps to enable and configure
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips and considerations
To configure a form, the marketer would:
- Access Forms listing screen: Navigate to the "Forms" section of the marketing templates. Here you can either create a new form or select an existing one to update its settings.
- Create a new form or edit an existing form: From the listing page you can create a new form, or edit an existing form that is not currently published.
- Give your form a name and description: Adding a unique name and description to the form will allow users to know the intended use of the form asset.
- Add form input fields: Create form input fields directly from the contact table, or create custom form inputs.
- Modify form input configurations: Select the field type, data type, and change the HTML name, assistive text, and HTML name as required.
- Add input validations: In each form input configure the validation rules, and the error messages the end user will see if the data entered is invalid
- Create form processing steps: Configure form processing steps, allowing a form submission to write to the linked contact, and redirect the submitter to a landing page or external URL.
- Save and publish: Save the form to use later, or publish the form to make it live and allow you to generate the HTML and endpoint to accept submissions. The form will stay published for 90 days.
- Export the form HTML: Download or copy the form HTML of a published form for use in a landing page
