Academic Person Onboarding

Onboard students, advisors, alumni, and staff who aren't already registered in Oracle Trading Community Architecture (TCA) as academic persons with a bulk data import. Institutions can create academic persons, check for duplicates, assign academic person IDs, create user accounts and role requests, and apply higher education party usages. Use academic person IDs or external identifier type and value pairs to load subsequent student related data and maintain continuity with legacy student information systems and third party applications.

This feature gives institutions an end-to-end onboarding model for academic persons.

Steps to enable and configure

For new academic persons, administrators can use PersonProfile Data Import to create the base academic person and related onboarding records. For people who already exist in TCA, they can use Activate Person Profile to add the academic person context and associated identifiers.
