Review Security Checkup results and assign process owners
Use the Security Checkup page to review published, seeded security algorithms and generate an XLSX report of the results. The report is generated through a scheduled job, and the Job ID appears in a confirmation message after you submit the report.
The report reflects how you work with the list:
- When no records are selected, the export includes all records that match the current filters.
- When you select one or more records, the export includes only the selected records.
- The report cover page lists the filters that were applied. Keyword searches appear separately as Keyword Search.
Use the page filters and search to narrow the report by process, reference code, algorithm name, algorithm type, or status.
Risk Administrators can use Assign Default Process Owners as a quick-start way to assign the appropriate business owner to a seeded parent-level business process. The selected owner gains visibility into the related records and the associated Oracle Managed Content. The default selection is applied to the child processes and related records for that process.
Business benefit
Accelerate initial adoption of Oracle Managed Content by giving Risk Administrators a quick way to establish business-owner access for seeded business processes. Security Checkup also provides a focused, shareable view of security algorithm results and preserves the filter context used for exports.
Steps to enable and configure
- From the Newsfeed home page, open Risk Management.
- Select Security Checkup.
- To use the quick-start owner assignment, open Assign Process Owners, select a user or group for the applicable seeded business process, and select Update.
Tips and considerations
- The export file is named Security Checkup {timestamp}.xlsx.
- After you submit the export, use the Job ID shown in the confirmation message to locate and download the report.
- Only seeded business processes appear in the Assign Default Process Owners page. User-defined processes aren't added automatically.
- Updating a default process owner appends the new owner to related record stakeholder definitions. To remove a former owner from related records, remove that stakeholder separately.
Access requirements
The Risk Administrator job is the only role that provides access to Security Checkup. You can receive this role directly or through the seeded IT Security Manager job role.
