Related Items
You can use related items in your web store to cross-sell products that complement each other.
For example, an electronics web store created a related items group containing cables, extension cords and surge protectors. When a shopper views a monitor on the web store, the list of related items displays, and they can view the additional products they need.
There are two ways you can set up related items in NetSuite:
-
Create Related Items Groups – First, create groups of related items. Then, add these groups to items you sell in your web store.
-
Associate Individual Related Items – Associate individual items to items you sell in your web store.
When a shopper adds a child matrix item to the cart, its related items are not displayed in the related items area on the Shopping Cart page.
For performance reasons, you should use a maximum of 100 related items per item record.
