Marking an Employee as a Sales Rep
Before NetSuite can link an employee to transactions and customer records, you need to do one of the following:

If you use the Team Selling feature, assign a sales role on the employee record for anyone you want to add to a sales group.

If you don't use the Team Selling feature, check the Sales Rep box on the Human Resources subtab of the employee's record.
Employees marked as sales reps appear in the Sales Rep fields on:

lead, prospect, and customer records
-
sales transactions
-
commission plans
-
sales territories
-
the forecast editor
Additionally, employees marked as sales reps are included on sales, pipeline, and forecast reports and report snapshots.
