Marking an Employee as a Sales Rep
Before NetSuite can associate an employee with transactions and customer records, you must do one of the following:

If you use the Team Selling feature, assign a sales role on the employee record for the person you want to add to a sales group.

If you do not use the Team Selling feature, check the Sales Rep box on the Human Resources subtab of the employee's record.
Employees marked as sales reps appear in the Sales Rep fields on:

lead, prospect, and customer records
-
sales transactions
-
commission plans
-
sales territories
-
the forecast editor
Additionally, employees marked as sales reps are included on sales, pipeline, and forecast reports and report snapshots.
