Use SuiteScript With Your Extension
SuiteScript is NetSuiteās proprietary scripting language that provides custom objects and methods you can use with JavaScript. The SuiteScript API provides access to NetSuite data. In terms of developing SuiteCommerce extensions, the SuitScript API plays an important role in backend models, where NetSuite data is created, read, updated, transformed, and validated. The SuiteScript API lets you access objects such as:
-
Transaction objects like the contents of a shopping cart or an order
-
Standard, non-transactional records like customer records
-
Custom records
