Tax Details for OSS on Transactions
SuiteTax adds an OSS Distance Sale tax transaction type to identify OSS transactions.
The One Stop Shop feature also adds the following new fields to your transactions' Tax Details subtab:
-
OSS Country which is only filled in for the OSS Distance Sale transaction type:
-
for goods: the country that your customer uses for their shipping address, as indicated on the transaction’s Shipping subtab.
-
for services: the country that your customer uses for their billing address, as indicated on the transaction’s Billing subtab.
-
-
OSS Scheme – The One Stop Shop scheme for a transaction. The SuiteTax Engine automatically determines the One Stop Shop scheme based on your One Stop Shop setup and the details in each transaction.
For both fields, if the Tax Details Override box on a transaction is checked, you can manually select an OSS Country or OSS scheme respectively. These fields only appear on transactions with an OSS Distance Sale tax type.
