If the Drop Shifts feature is enabled in your account, employees can start a drop shift request in the app if they can't make their shift.
To drop a shift, the employee selects their scheduled shift in the app and selects Drop. They'll be asked to enter a reason and told the shift is still theirs until the manager approves the drop. After entering the reson, they click Request.
The manager then receives a trade notification in the app. They can review the reason and either deny the request by clicking No or pre-approve the drop and find a fill-in by clicking Fill.
By default, the Drop Pre-Approval feature is enabled. If this feature is off, managers don't need to approve the dropped shift. The dropped shift will automatically send a request to all available employees. When someone picks up the shift, the manager will be notified to approve or deny the this change. You can change this by going to Setup > Adi phone app.
