Options button

Within the Weekly Scheduling view there are several options that can be set to change the way you view the schedule.

To access the scheduling view options, click on the Options button located in the top toolbar.

After you have clicked Options, the schedule screen will shift to the left and a menu bar will appear on the right hand side.

Options

Once the Options menu has appeared, you will have a variety of ways to see and sort your data as it pertains to the weekly schedule. Below is a list of the menu items and what they do. It is also important to note that when the options are set, they will remain in place for that user until changed, so there is no need to remember and reconfigure after you logout of the system.

Statistics Options

  • Forecast Stats: This can be toggled between 'Schedule' and 'Always'. Schedule will only show you the actual statistics for the day's that appear in your weekly schedule vs Always, which will show you the forecasted stats along with the actuals stats for each day within the week.

  • Statistics Visible: This option will allow you toggle various statistic on and off within you weekly view. As some statistics maybe monitored more closely than others, this is a great way to un-clutter your view.

Table Options

  • Show All Staff: This option will allow you to view all employees for the location or only those employees that have been scheduled. Show all staff set to No will only show those employees that have been scheduled. Show all staff set to Yes will show employees that are scheduled and are not scheduled.

  • Show Exceptions: This option will grey out any actioned shifts so your attention is drawn to those needing actioning. You can also click the percentage wheel at the top right of the weekly view to toggle between viewing exceptions and not

  • Shift Groups: This is a drop down list that will groups employees in the schedule view based on the commonality of the option selected.

  • List Order: This option allows you to sort the employees within the schedule by first or last name.

Name Options

  • Name: This option will allow you to view employees by their first name or preferred name within the schedule view.

  • Format: This option will allow you to view employees in the schedule view by either First, Last name or by Last, First name.

Shift Options

  • Color: When viewing the weekly schedule view, this option will allow you to view employees by the color assigned to a job or the employees availability for shifts.

    To see the availability colors, you will need to change the schedule to schedule view by clicking on the Switch button in the upper toolbar so that it appears like pictured below.

  • Style: This option will toggle how the colors are displayed on shifts, either by a color stripe along the left hand side of the scheduled shift, or will fill in the entire shift to the applicable color.

  • Icons: This option will either hide or show time punch notifications from the employees recorded time punches. ie; how the staff member punched in (SuitePeople Time Clock and/or by the phone app) or any forced punch notifications.
