Types of Conditions
When you create a wage agreement, WFM provides default conditions and rules that you can use. After creating the agreement, you can also create new conditions and rules.
For more information, see Creating a Condition.
The four types of conditions in WFM are:
-
Regular Rate – These conditions are used as base hours.
-
Penalty Rate – These conditions are used to give a different rate to regular hours, rather than a wage increase when particular days or hours are worked. For example, hours worked between 7 pm and 10 pm on a Sunday receive a different rate, rather than an increase per hour worked.
-
Overtime Rate – These conditions are used to give a different rate to regular hours, rather than a wage increase after a certain number of hours have already been worked. For example, every day where hours worked during the week exceed 38 hours receives a different rate.0
-
Allowance or Penalty – These conditions are used to give a wage increase rather than a different rate. For example, hours worked between 7 pm and 10 pm receive an extra $1 per hour, rather than a different rate altogether.
