Restoring Mobile Processes with Imported Updates
When you perform a standard mobile process import, a backup file is generated or updated to store the current state of the process. The mobile app uses this file to restore a process and return it to the state prior to the latest import. It does not restore to the original state, in case you have imported a process multiple times.
Restoring standard mobile processes removes only the updates obtained from the latest import.
Before you restore a standard process, you can view the details of the latest import. Using the Mobile -Administrator role, go to Setup > Configuration > Import Status.
To restore mobile processes:
-
Go to Setup > Custom > Mobile -Applications.
-
On the Mobile – Applications List page, click View next to the mobile app that contains the process.
-
On the Mobile – Process List page, click Restore Backup Process.
-
On the Mobile – Restore Backup Process page, do the following:
-
In the Standard Mobile Process field, select the process you want to restore.
-
Click Restore.
-
A message appears with a link that you can click to view the job processing status. Verify that the job has been completed before you access the mobile app.
