Implementing Prerequisites

Before automatically creating configurable subscriptions:

  1. Ensure your account includes the SuiteBilling features.

    Note:

    Contact your NetSuite representative to provision the SuiteBilling features for your account.

  2. In NetSuite CPQ Configurator, go to the options record at CPQ > Configurator > Settings. Under the Submit subtab, check the Update transaction entity box.

    This option makes the automatically created subscription plans and associated records available for transaction dropdown fields with fewer than 300 options.

    Note:

    The option may be incompatible with custom scripts deployed on transactions.

After implementing the prerequisites, work with the subscription plan—either standard or configurable. For more information, see Creating a Standard Subscription Plan and Creating a Configurable Subscription Plan.
