Available To Build
The Available To Build (ATB) SuiteApp helps manufacturers see how many assemblies and kits they can make with their current on-hand inventory. The SuiteApp evaluates based on end assembly and sub-assembly component inventory, helping manufacturers to determine the quantity they can provide to customers. Manufacturers can analyze how many assemblies or kits they can assemble right now with current component inventory, using either the top-level or fully exploded Bill of Materials (BOM).
You can use the SuiteApp functionality from the Sales Order, and Item 360 SuiteApp pages. You’ll see ATB content in a portlet on the Manufacturing and Sales pages of the Item 360 Dashboard. You can also calculate the ATB value for top-level or all-level items from the Sales Order page.
Following are the key considerations for the Available to Build SuiteApp:
-
ATB value is calculated for assembly item and kit items.
-
ATB is calculated by considering either top level or all levels of the BOM.
-
For assembly items, the component details are obtained from the BOM. You need the Advanced Bill of Materials feature to calculate ATB for assembly items; otherwise, the SuiteApp uses only the assembly's on-hand quantity.
-
The SuiteApp does not consider any other supply and demand types to calculate ATB.
-
You must have Item 360 SuiteApp installed in your account to use the Available to Build SuiteApp functionality through Item 360 SuiteApp.
